Éimi Quinn is an emerging Scottish writer and Actor. Her first play The Funeral Club was a huge success in the 2024 Spring season of A Play, a Pie and a Pint. It is now being developed into a TV series with Synchronicity Films (Mayflies, The Tattooist of Auschwitz). And her most recent play Dookin Oot has just finished a successful Scottish Tour. She was chosen by The Playwright Studio Scotland for their 2023 mentorship, where she was able to write her second play Skelf. As an actor she has worked both on screen and stage since she graduated from New College Lanarkshire in 2020.
Maureen Carr, a seasoned actor with 45 years of experience, has worked in theatre, TV, and radio. As the co-founder of Witsherface Theatre company, Maureen has a passion for collaborating with new writers, supporting them in their development, and helping them take the next step in their artistic journey. Witsherface ignited a passion within her to support and encourage writers of all ages to share their work. Maureen came to directing late in her career and believes that there shouldn’t be a barrier to age!
