NYOS Music Director, Catherine Larsen-Maguire, conducts the NYOS Development Orchestra for the first time as they return to Perth Concert Hall this Spring.
Comprised of young musicians aged 11-18 advancing their music-making skills and experiences, the orchestra will take audiences on a journey of varied and beautiful landscapes through Avril Coleridge-Taylor's Sussex Landscape and ‘Vltava’ from Smetana’s Má Vlast, alongside Daniel Kidane’s grime-inspired Breakbeat. They will also be joined by NYOS alumnus, Adam Lee who will feature as soloist as the orchestra performs Óscar Navarro’s cinematic Clarinet Concerto No. 1.
£17.50 (Includes £2.50 booking fee) Students/under 25s/those in receipt of Universal Credit or Jobseekers’ Allowance: £5.00 Under 18s: free
