Off We Go! Free Creative Workshop For Ages 5-10

A fun, interactive - and free! - creative workshop on travel, vehicles and journeys, for children aged 5-10 and their parents or carers.

How do you travel to Perth Theatre and Concert Hall? What do you see along the way? Join artist Helen McCrorie for an afternoon of playful investigations through sound and storytelling games, drawing and printing. We will make exciting records of our own journeys, as well as using our imaginations to travel. (Be sure to stay alert on the way here, and discuss what you see, hear and smell with your child, parent or carer- as this is important research for our fun workshop!)

Helen McCrorie is the embedded artist with Perth Theatre and Concert Hall and Creative Carbon Scotland on a project investigating audience travel. She has worked with many schools and community groups.

Sound recordings and artworks from the workshop may be used in subsequent films and public artworks, and families will also get to take copies home.
