Step behind the scenes and discover the magic of costume creation in a real theatre costume department! This exciting, hands-on workshop is perfect for young creatives who want to explore the world of stage design and bring characters to life through fabric, colour, and imagination. After graduating from Heriot-Watt University with BSc Hons in Textile and Fashion Design Management, Louise joined the wardrobe team at The King’s Theatre in Glasgow in 2001. From there her career in theatre production and events has taken her all over the world including working on Cirque du Soleil’s Zaia in China, international touring with the National Theatre of Scotland and supervising the costumes for the 2014 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies. Louise has been working with Perth Theatre for 13 years and joined the team full time in 2017. A £10 deposit is required to secure your place on the masterclass. This will be automatically refunded to the bill payer once the session has been completed. Please allow up to 5 working days for this to appear in your account. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice so we have the opportunity to offer your place to someone else. Please note that refunds will not be issued where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or in the case of non-attendance. If you try to book a place but it is full, please contact the L&E team to request to be put on the waiting list and a member of the team will be in touch with you should a space become available.
