How can we write a story? How can we write a story for the stage – a play – with actors speaking the words out loud for an audience? In this workshop, we will think of a play as a story that tell us secrets, and so to write a play we must first become detectives.
Using our investigation skills and our imaginations, we will write our own scenes inspired by Perth Theatre stages of the past. We might find ourselves in a castle, or in , or out at sea… Wherever we end up, we’ll be looking and listening for what is hidden – and find the secrets we can show our audience.
